This per diem opportunity near Seattle, WA, is designed for caring and committed professionals who thrive in collaborative environments and excel in providing individualized academic, behavioral, and social support to students. In this role, you will have the rewarding responsibility to: Offer attentive 1:1 or small group assistance under the direction of teaching staff Encourage student participation in classroom activities and help with daily routines and transitions Implement behavior intervention strategies and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Support students' mobility, provide supervision, and assist with personal care as needed Help foster a respectful, inclusive, and safe environment for all learners You'll bring these qualifications to the table: Associate's degree or higher Minimum age of 18 Ability to stand, walk, and help with lifting if required Valid fingerprint background clearance or willingness to obtain before starting Experience in educational, behavioral health, or child care settings preferred Specific background supporting students with special needs, behavioral challenges, or autism is a plus Certification or familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT methods valued Reliability, patience, and strong teamwork skills Enjoy weekly pay at $35.00/hr, the flexibility to choose assignments that fit your schedule, and instant access to support through an app-based chat feature.
