Operations Program Associate (Psychology Services) - Mendota Mental Health Institute Job ID20902 Location Madison Agency Health Services Full/Part TimeFull-Time Regular/TemporaryRegular Classification Code16470 Classification TitleOperations Program Associate Introduction The Department of Health Services (DHS), Mendota Mental Health Institute (MMHI) is recruiting for an Operations Program Associate that will work in the Psychology Services Department. This position will typically work daytime hours, Monday through Friday. MMHI is located on the north side of Madison and offers a beautiful campus environment, convenient free parking and an onsite workout facility. MMHI is an inpatient psychiatric facility, with one outpatient program, and is an integral part of the entire Wisconsin mental health service delivery system. Position Summary As the Operations Program Associate in the Psychology Services Department, you will independently perform operational and program support of considerable technical difficulty across multiple departments and state agencies. You will oversee multiple aspects of various programs to ensure compliance with applicable standards, State and Federal regulations, and The Joint Commission (TJC) standards. In this role, you will be responsible for: Development, oversight, and maintenance of a tracking system for multiple assessment tools and treatment to competency reporting for the Psychology Department Developing processes related to the nationally accredited American Psychological Association (APA) Internship program for the Psychology Department to ensure APA standards are adhered to. Acting as the Psychology Student/Intern Coordinator. Independently performing high-level administrative support for the Quality Improvement and Policy Standards Department including developing, overseeing, reviewing, and communicating the results of Institute-wide quality assurance and performance improvement data Providing assistance to the Medical Services Departments (including Medical Clinic, Pharmacy, Lab, Dental Clinic, and medical staff) with multiple tasks related to appointment scheduling, ordering, and confidential tasks associated with medical appointments for patients. In this position, you will extensively utilize multiple data management tools, in particular, Excel and Access, for multiple departments as well as monitoring regulatory compliance as directed. Salary Information The starting pay for this position is $22.31 per hour ($46,400 per year), plus excellent benefits. A 12-month probationary period is required. Pay for current or former state employees will be set based on the rules that apply to compensation for the applicable transaction. This position is in pay schedule and range 02/11. Job Details All applicants will be required to allow the DHS to conduct a background check to determine whether the circumstances of any convictions may be related to the job being filled. All appointees will be required to receive a TB test, which will be administered by MMHI or medical personnel approved by the facility prior to their start date. DHS does not sponsor work visas for this position, thus, in compliance with federal law, selected candidates will be required to verify eligibility to work in the United States by completing the required I-9 form upon hire. Qualifications Minimally qualified applicants will have all of the following: Experience using Microsoft Office products (Excel, Access, Word, and Outlook) to perform duties such as tracking data, data entry, preparing written correspondence, responding to emails, etc. Experience providing customer service in a professional or business setting (e.g., providing instructions, answering questions, resolving customer complaints, etc.). Experience performing office management or administrative duties (e.g., reviewing/filing documents, monitoring office supply inventory, etc.). Well-qualified applicants will also have one or more of the following: Experience maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information. Experience working in a hospital, medical clinic, or similar 24/7 healthcare facility. Experience providing administrative support to a multidisciplinary team, including preparing reports, coordination and scheduling of meetings, responding to inquiries, assisting with meeting agendas, etc. Your letter of qualifications and resume are limited to two (2) pages each.
