Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Shelter Advocate to provide direct support to shelter operations and residents. This role ensures a safe, structured, and supportive environment while assisting with case management, daily shelter functions, and community coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Support daily shelter operations and maintain a safe, structured environment Provide direct resident support, including resource connections Complete intakes, documentation, and Data entry Monitor and enforce shelter policies while using trauma-informed care and de-escalation Assist with facility upkeep, donations, communication
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with vulnerable populations preferred Knowledge of trauma-informed practices and crisis intervention
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
