Overview Join our dedicated team as an Attendant Care professional, where your compassion and expertise will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring personalized support. In this vital role, you will provide hands-on assistance with daily activities, monitor health and safety, and foster a caring environment that promotes independence and dignity. Whether working in a home setting, community facility, or long-term care environment, your commitment to quality care will help enhance the well-being of those you serve. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop your skills while making a positive impact every day. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor patient health by taking vital signs, observing for changes, and reporting findings accurately to healthcare professionals Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding while adhering to dietary restrictions and care plans Support clients with medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care protocols Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties and infection control practices Document care activities, observations, and any incidents thoroughly in compliance with privacy regulations Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being and social engagement Skills Proven experience in group home settings, assisted living facilities, or home & community care environments Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and hospice care practices Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) CPR and First Aid certification to ensure immediate response during emergencies Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality Excellent communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teams and supporting residents' care plans Experience in medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and patient safety procedures Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication transforms lives.
