Day/NOC Sonoran Hills Behavioral Health Center - Peoria, AZ Sonoran Hills Behavioral Health Center is a 10-bed residential treatment program in Peoria, AZ, serving adolescent males (ages 12-17) diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). We provide a structured, therapeutic environment where residents receive comprehensive, integrated care through a multidisciplinary team approach. Our program is designed to foster skill development, reduce maladaptive behaviors, and promote long-term independence.Our treatment model includes:
24-hour care and support staff Psychiatry services Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy Speech, occupational, and physical therapy Recreational therapy Case management services Individualized dietary support We are currently seeking a dedicated and dependable Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our team.Position Responsibilities:
Provide direct care services in a safe and therapeutic manner Actively participate in the treatment planning process and provide clinical observations Support behavioral interventions and assist with crisis intervention as needed Facilitate and organize structured recreational and social activities Complete accurate and timely documentation in accordance with policy Assist with patient admissions (intakes) and discharge procedures Maintain a respectful, structured, and supportive treatment environment Attend and participate in required trainings and staff meetingsQualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required Completion of a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) program preferred Experience working with adolescents and/or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations Demonstrated ability to make sound, independent decisions Must pass background screening Proficient in reading, writing, and speakingEnglish Schedule:
