Our center is committed to providing exceptional care for individuals struggling with drug and alcohol dependency, mental health disorders and overall recovery. Key Responsibilities As a Behavioral Health Technician, your primary role will include: Completing admission/intake procedures for new clients including paperwork, room assignments, and initial orientation Conducting property searches as required by program standards Performing urine drug screenings for clients Supervising medication calls if necessary Providing transportation services including patient transportation, donation pick-ups, and agency errands Attending in-service training, educational workshops, and required staff meetings Developing and maintaining client records, progress reports, and treatment documentation Identifying and addressing crises, behavioral changes, and additional assistance needs Adhering to professional ethics, maintaining confidential information, and respecting appropriate boundaries Key Skills and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalency RADT or equivalency Minimum of two years experience in the mental health field or educational progress towards a degree in a mental health field Must possess valid California driver's license and liability insurance if driving personal vehicle for company business Excellent communication, observation, and writing skills Familiarity with various recovery resources available in the community Completed required trainings and certifications, including CPR/First Aid, TB test,
Health Screen/Work Clearance, and Food Handlers Certification Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
