Through our Detox, Mental Health, PHP, and IOP programs, we provide compassionate, evidence-based care that promotes healing, accountability, personal growth, and long-term wellness. We are seeking a dedicated, energetic, and compassionate House Manager (couples welcome) to oversee the daily operations of our residential environment and support clients participating in treatment services. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a safe, structured, and therapeutic atmosphere while serving as a bridge between clients, clinical staff, medical providers, and leadership. Position Summary The House Manager is responsible for maintaining the overall safety, structure, and daily operations of the residence while providing direct support to clients receiving behavioral health and substance use treatment services. This individual will model professionalism, accountability, and healthy boundaries while assisting clients in navigating their recovery journey. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, calm under pressure, and passionate about helping individuals experiencing mental health and substance use challenges. Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesClient Care & Support Provide supportive supervision and accountability for clients residing in the program. Assist clients with daily living activities and adherence to program expectations. Conduct resident orientations and review house rules, schedules, and expectations. Support clients in maintaining participation in treatment services, medical appointments, and recovery activities. Encourage healthy communication, conflict resolution, and community engagement. Safety & Crisis Intervention Maintain a safe, therapeutic, and recovery-oriented living environment. Monitor client behavior and identify potential safety concerns. Utilize de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques when necessary. Respond appropriately to emergencies, medical concerns, and behavioral incidents. Complete incident reports and communicate concerns to leadership and clinical staff promptly. Operations & Facility Management Conduct regular house inspections to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with program standards. Monitor medication storage procedures and coordinate with medical staff as appropriate. Assist with transportation coordination and client appointments. Oversee inventory of household supplies and client necessities. Ensure compliance with agency policies, procedures, and safety standards. Documentation & Compliance Complete daily logs, shift reports, rounds documentation, and incident reports. Maintain accurate client records and communication logs. Assist with data collection and documentation required for licensing, accreditation, and quality assurance standards. Communicate effectively with clinical, medical, case management, and admissions teams. Team Collaboration Participate in staff meetings and treatment team discussions. Collaborate with therapists, case managers, nurses, behavioral health technicians, and leadership. Support a positive team culture focused on client success and professional growth. QualificationsRequired High School Diploma or GED. Minimum one year of experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, mental health services, residential care, social services, or a related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain professional boundaries while building rapport with clients. Valid California Driver's License and clean driving record. Ability to pass background screening and drug testing. Preferred Experience working in Detox, Residential Treatment, PHP, IOP, or Mental Health programs. RADT, CADC, CATC, CCAPP, or related certification. Experience with crisis intervention and behavioral health documentation. CPR and First Aid Certification. Experience with electronic medical records and treatment documentation systems. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to respond quickly during emergency situations. Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts when required.
