Pay:
$35 to $38 depending on experience.
Required Certifications BLS Job Summary:
The Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) is responsible for providing direct patient care, monitoring behavioral and emotional conditions, and supporting the clinical team in the stabilization of individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis. The LPT works in a fast-paced environment and ensures patient safety while maintaining dignity and confidentiality. Need 2 sup refs from modality submitting to (charge accepted) at submittal; 1 w/in 12 mo. & 1 w/in 3 years worked Candidates may not have been directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity within the past year. Candidates who were employed PRN through outside firms will be considered.

CANDIDATE MUST HOLD A CURRENT CA PSYCH TECH LICENSE
# of beds 12 Patient Ratios 4:1 licensed staff to patient ratios. 6:1 RN to patient ratios. Required Certifications LPT and BLS Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Psych diagnosis. all patients medically stable. Experience or 'Must have' skills: Psych experience. fast paced unit

Only to Emergency Dept to monitor behavioral health patients.
