Rehabilitation Therapy Technician/Aide

Job description: We are seeking a compassionate, empathetic, organized, focused and quality driven Rehabilitation Technician/Aide who will work directly with patients as they transition into ongoing therapeutic wellness programs.

Duties will include:

Assist in delivering specialty programs including functional electrical stimulation bike program and standing frame program Monitor patient tolerance, response, and safety during therapeutic activities Encourage patient participation and provide reassurance during therapy Monitor patient condition and report progress or concerns to therapists Supervise and observe patients using gym equipment to ensure safety Clean, disinfect equipment and maintain treatment areas and equipment per infection control policies Maintain equipment functionality and report malfunctions

Requirements and Qualifications:

Completion of rehab aide therapy training course and 6 months of experience or one (1) year of experience in a rehab setting Experience with specialty rehabilitation equipment Specialized training in rehabilitation therapy or wellness programs

• Preferred CPR Certification
• Required BLS Certification
• Preferred Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams Knowledge of basic rehabilitation techniques and equipment Physical ability to assist patients with mobility and equipment use Ability to monitor patient safety and respond appropriately

Pay:

Up to $24.00 per hour Application Question(s): Completion of rehab aide therapy training course
