As a Licensed Psychiatric Technician, you will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to psychiatric patients. Your role includes implementing and evaluating care plans, performing assigned tasks, and collaborating with the nursing and multidisciplinary team to support patient well-being.

37/Hourly Qualifications We're seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated professional with: At least 6 months experience in a psychiatric inpatient setting or equivalent required California Psychiatric Technician Licensure required BLS f rom ARC or AHA, required Demonstrated ability to provide individual and group activities to psychiatric patients on an acute psychiatric inpatient Knowledge of psychological functioning and deviations from normal Knowledge of growth and development throughout the life span Knowledge of techniques of therapeutic communication Knowledge of Drug administration Knowledge of management of assaultive behavior Knowledge of Evacuation, fire and disaster procedures Knowledge of HIPAA This position has the potential to convert to career.
