We are accepting applications for Permanent/Fulltime Psychiatric Technician Assistant (Safety) positions. Complete applications are desired. Incumbents provide a basic level of general and psychiatric nursing care to mentally ill and emotionally disturbed patients; demonstrate and exercise skills in identification and response to crisis management; report significant changes in behavior or health status to appropriate staff; and observe safety and security measures and assist in security functions. Candidates must have excellent organizational skills, ability to problem solve, and good communication skills. Candidates must be willing to work in any Unit/Program and any Shift to meet the needs of the facility.
TRAINING EXPECTATIONS
If selected, it is mandatory that you attend New Employee Orientation (NEO) in its entirety. NEO can be scheduled up to 30 days for level of care staff (clinical).
