Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented TMS Technician to join our mental health team. The TMS Technician is responsible for administering Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy to patients under the supervision of a licensed provider. This role involves direct patient interaction, treatment setup, monitoring patient progress, and ensuring a safe and supportive clinical environment. Key Responsibilities Administer TMS therapy according to established protocols and physician directives Prepare patients for treatment sessions, including positioning and equipment setup Monitor patients during treatment for comfort, safety, and response Accurately document treatment sessions, patient responses, and any adverse effects Maintain and calibrate TMS equipment to ensure proper functioning Provide education and emotional support to patients throughout their treatment course Collaborate with clinical staff regarding patient progress and concerns Ensure compliance with clinic policies, safety standards, and HIPAA regulations Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare-related field preferred Prior experience in a clinical or mental health setting is a plus Certification in TMS (or willingness to obtain certification upon hire) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work with patients experiencing depression, anxiety, or other mental health conditions Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Basic computer proficiency for documentation and scheduling Preferred Skills Experience with TMS or other neuromodulation therapies Knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment approaches Ability to remain calm, empathetic, and professional in a clinical setting Benefits (if applicable) Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Ongoing training and professional development Supportive team environment
