7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Join Our Team Pacific Shores Recovery provides residential substance use treatment in a structured, supportive environment where clients are encouraged to build healthy routines and develop the skills needed for long-term recovery. We are seeking a dependable Behavioral Health Technician to help maintain daily operations, support client engagement, and contribute to a safe and organized treatment environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, values teamwork, and can remain professional in a dynamic setting. Position Overview The Behavioral Health Technician serves as a key part of the treatment team by helping clients navigate their daily schedules, maintain accountability, and participate in program activities. This position requires strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to respond appropriately to changing situations throughout the day. Success in this role depends on reliability, consistency, and a willingness to actively engage with both clients and staff. What You'll Do Monitor and support clients throughout daily programming Assist clients in following schedules and attending groups, appointments, and other program activities Promote a structured and respectful living environment Observe client behavior and communicate relevant information to supervisors and clinical staff Provide transportation for clients when assigned Help maintain program rules, expectations, and community standards Assist with client check-ins, room checks, and routine program operations Support clients during transitions, activities, and recovery-focused programming Document observations and other required information accurately and on time Contribute to a positive team culture through effective communication and cooperation What We're Looking For The right candidate is: Dependable and punctual Comfortable working in a fast-paced residential environment Able to communicate clearly and professionally Receptive to coaching and feedback Capable of maintaining appropriate professional boundaries Solution-focused and able to handle challenges calmly Committed to supporting individuals in recovery Required Qualifications Active RADT certification or eligibility to obtain certification within required timelines Valid California driver's license Clean driving record with a minimum of three years of driving history Ability to pass all required background screenings and employment requirements Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Preferred Experience While previous experience in behavioral health, recovery services, residential treatment, or human services is beneficial, it is not required. Pacific Shores Recovery is willing to train motivated individuals who demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and a strong work ethic.
