Psychiatric Technician

BestNest Management is currently seeking Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) to work a 6 month contract at the State Prison in Soledad, CA; possibility of extension or offer of permanent employment with the state.

LPT:

Give a basic level of general behavioral and psychiatric nursing care Conduct daily clinical rounds and monitoring of patient /youth with signs and symptoms of mental illness Administer medications and treatments, including hypodermic injections, take and chart temperature, pulse, blood pressure and respiration, etc Development of treatment plans and objectives from assessments Requirements for
