We serve adult men in early recovery from primary mental health and/or substance use disorders. Our mission is to create a safe, stable, and recovery-focused environment where residents can build independent living skills and maintain sobriety in a community-based setting. Position Overview The Supportive Living Technician is responsible for the direct supervision and support of clients residing at Triton House. This role involves ensuring the daily structure of the house, maintaining safety and compliance with program rules, and providing recovery-oriented support in collaboration with the leadership team. Candidates must be calm under pressure, organized, and capable of maintaining professional boundaries in a residential treatment setting. Key Responsibilities Maintain a physically and emotionally safe environment by monitoring clients and enforcing house rules, curfews, and visitor policies Conduct routine walkthroughs of the property to ensure cleanliness, order, and safety compliance Facilitate client orientations, review house expectations, and complete intake documentation as needed Administer observed drug and alcohol screenings, document results, and escalate concerns appropriately Oversee the process of client medication self-administration and report non-compliance or discrepancies Intervene in client conflicts using de-escalation techniques and notify Program Manager of behavioral concerns or incidents Record shift logs, document notable behaviors, and complete incident reports in a timely and accurate manner Assist in creating a structured, peer-supportive atmosphere through conversation, activities, and community-building Respond to emergencies and follow outlined safety procedures Maintain professional boundaries at all times; act as a role model of recovery principles Minimum Qualifications At least 1 year of experience working in a sober living, supportive housing, residential treatment, or behavioral health setting Must possess a valid California Driver's License with a relatively clean driving record Basic understanding of mental health disorders, addiction, relapse prevention, and recovery principles Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate effectively to individuals in recovery Comfortable enforcing rules while remaining respectful, compassionate, and solution-oriented Ability to document clearly and concisely in shift reports and incident documentation Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a supervisory or house manager role in a residential or sober living environment First Aid/CPR certification and/or training in crisis de-escalation Why Work With Us?
