About Us Healthy Living Residential Program is a leading medically monitored detox and residential treatment facility specializing in substance use disorder and dual diagnosis treatment. We are dedicated to providing compassionate care and support to individuals on their journey to recovery. We are seeking a motivated and caring RADT to join our team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients. Job Summary As a Registered Alcohol and Drug Technician (RADT) at Healthy Living Residential Program, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients through their recovery process. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, counselors, and medical staff to provide direct care, monitor client progress, and assist with daily activities. Your empathy, dedication, and commitment to helping others will be key to fostering a safe and therapeutic environment. Key Responsibilities Assist in the implementation of treatment plans under the supervision of licensed clinical staff. Monitor and document client behavior, activities, and progress, utilizing round forms, shift reports, and other documentations. Provide support and guidance during detoxification and residential treatment phases. Facilitate group activities and educational sessions. Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to engage with patients. Administer medication as directed by medical staff and ensure compliance with treatment protocols. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in client records. Support clients in developing healthy coping strategies and life skills. Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment for all clients. Respond to emergencies and provide crisis intervention as needed. Participate in team meetings and contribute to case discussions. Uphold the highest standards of boundaries, confidentiality and ethical conduct. Qualifications Current RADT certification in California. Previous experience in substance use disorder treatment, mental health, or related field preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to handle crisis situations with empathy and professionalism. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Compassionate, patient, and non-judgmental approach to client care. Ability to maintain professional boundaries and adhere to ethical guidelines. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Basic computer skills for documentation purposes.
