is a nationwide healthcare staffing company that has partnered with Correctional Facilities across your State to help them find AMAZING Nurses. We're looking for you to become a valued member of the healthcare team at our client's medical facility!
  • Pay Rate:
  • $259 / hour
  • 1099
  • Details
  • + Full Time Schedules + Some weekends may be required + 8 or 12 hour shifts available depending on the facility + Contract Position (flexible with shift availability is a plus) + Mon - Thu, or Tue Fri, 0730 - 1730
  • Duties
  • + Directly evaluates, treats and documents treatment of assigned psychiatric patients on a continual basis in accordance with policy, procedures, and laws + Provides diagnosis after assessment; prescribes medications; monitors patients' progress, including laboratory values and special procedures with appropriate follow-up or referrals as indicated + Dictates admission summaries, and discharge summaries and other necessary documentation + Confers with patient's relatives, AR, legal Client, or healthcare proxy to inform them of patient's condition, changes in physical or mental status and treatment recommendations and to encourage their participation in the overall treatment planning and management of patient + Communicates with community psychiatrists as appropriate to enhance patient care, to facilitate patient discharge, and to respond to questions regarding patient management •Qualifications•+ Graduation from an accredited educational institution + Licensed as a •Psychiatrist•by the State in •CA•.
The license MUST be in good standing + 1 year of experience
