Compensation & Assignment Details Pay Rate:
$49.00 per hour
Number of Openings:
2
Assignment Length:
28 weeks (with potential extension/renewal)
Guaranteed Hours:
40 hours per week
Schedule:
8-hour shifts (AM or PM shifts available)
Estimated Start Date:
4-6 weeks from offer acceptance Job Description The Licensed Psychiatric Technician will assist in providing direct patient care to inmates with mental health and behavioral health needs.
Responsibilities include:
Monitoring and documenting patients' mental and physical conditions Administering prescribed medications and treatments within scope of practice Assisting with therapeutic and rehabilitative activities Observing and reporting behavioral changes to the healthcare team Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation Supporting crisis intervention and patient safety measures Collaborating with psychiatrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care Adhering to correctional facility policies, procedures, and security protocols Minimum Qualifications Current and active California Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) License Minimum of 1 year of LPT experience Current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) Benefits Provided Physical Examination Drug Screening Fit Mask Testing Background Check Processing For additional information or to apply, please contact:
