Job Description:
Communicates therapeutically with patients, families, and staff, providing age-specific interactions. Demonstrates professional conduct and accountability, understanding legal consequences of patient rights and responsibilities. Accurately documents patient care and reports findings to the Registered Nurse and/or Clinician. Maintains thorough and confidential patient charts and records. Organizes and prioritizes work to provide high-quality, cost-effective patient care within assigned timeframes. Ensures work environment and patient rooms are clean and orderly to maintain a safe and calming environment. Other duties as assigned. Ensures patient safety through continuous observation of patient environment and activities. Responds appropriately in crisis situations. Utilizes de-escalation techniques to ensure patient and associate safety. Provides assistance with patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse and/or Clinician. Reports patient status changes and needs to the Registered Nurse and/or Clinician accurately and promptly.

Education:
  • Bachelor's [Preferred]
  • High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
Field of Study:
  • in psychology or related human service field
Work Experience:
  • 1+ experience in an acute care setting, mental health, human services or related [Required]
Licenses and Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support
  • CPR Cert (BLS) within 90 days of hire [Preferred]
