- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred associate or bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, or other social services degree
- Preferred 2 years' experience in the behavioral health field
- Preferred current CPR & First Aid Certification
- Experience, knowledge, or interest in chemical dependency and abuse in mental health
- Valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with diversity Reports to :
Program Manager Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with administrative and housing staff in the supervision of residents
- Shift management with activities and appointments
- Offer assistance with intakes, discharges, performing room moves and room searches, sign in and sign out clients, other duties as a signed
- Transportation if needed for offsite outings, chore enforcement, delivering amenities as requested, and relaying
- Accurate and appropriate information to the clinical and administrative team
- Enforcement on structure and regulated obligations for clients
- Monitors the needs and behaviors of residents
- Daily shift notes on client behavior, incident reports and warning signs
- Assist with on-site activities, outings, and community meetings as assigned
- Maintains current and valid vehicle insurance
- Documents client activities of daily living
- Maintains house cleanliness and upkeep and enforces this with clients
- Provide conflict resolution, safety, and maintain calm redirection in high stress environments
- Strong communication with clients and staff
- Relate professionally, ethically, and compassionately to clients, peers, and staff at all times
- Attends and participates in staff meetings and trainings
- Coordinate and encourage engagement with client group attendance and offsite activities
- Participates in the development of quality improvement projects pertaining to the house
- HIPAA compliance
- Helpful and adaptive with assistance in all staff departments
- Serve as a point of de-escalation for both client and team relations
- Experience with KIPU preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Provide a mentorship to clients to create an environment of growth
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for both clients and staff
