No The Mental Health Technician II Responsibilities:

+ Provides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing. + Promotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients. + Assists with physical care under the direction of an RN. + Promotes coordination of the unit by completing orders, making phone calls and directing calls and information to the charge nurse.

Required Certification/Licensures:

+ BLS (Basic Life Support) + CNA (Nursing Assistant)

• preferred + Patient Care Technician
• preferred

Required Education:

+ High School or Equivalent + Associate's degree in related field

• Preferred + Bachelor's degree in related field

• Preferred Required Experience:

  + Mental Health Technician II
• Required 6 months of Psychology based experience or bachelor's degree in related field + Mental Health Technician Pool
