The Mental Health Technician Responsibilities:

• + Provides direct patient care to psychiatric inpatients under the direct Supervision of a Registered Nurse. + Provides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing. + Promotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients.

• Required Certification/Licensures:

• + BLS (Basic Life Support) + CNA (Nursing Assistant)
• preferred + Patient Care Technician
• preferred

• Required Education:

• + High School or Equivalent + Associate's degree in related field
• Preferred + Bachelor's degree in related field
• Preferred

• Required Experience:

• + 6 months
• Psychology or Bachelor's degree in related field
