You will play an essential role in providing client-centered care to individuals with mental health and substance abuse needs. It offers a compassionate environment and team focused on promoting safety, stability, and positive outcomes for our clients. As a key member of our facility, you will support clients through crisis intervention, behavior management, and daily activities, ensuring they receive optimal care. You will help foster a safe and supportive environment for individuals with substance use disorders and mental health conditions. Duties Monitor and assist clients to ensure their safety and well-being Implement behavior management strategies using applied behavior analysis techniques to promote positive behaviors Complete documentation accurately in compliance with HIPAA and Joint Commission regulations Observe self-administration of medication following prescribed protocols while maintaining detailed medical documentation and vital signs records Respond pro-actively to behavioral crises or emergencies with effective crisis intervention and crisis management skills Collect information on client behaviors, progress, and treatment responses to inform ongoing care plans Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, special educators, and medical staff to coordinate comprehensive client care Ensure that communal spaces and client areas are kept safe and clean Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent CPR Certification At least 1 year prior experience working in behavioral health field Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and crisis management strategies in healthcare settings Familiarity with working with individuals experiencing mental health and addiction-related challenges Ability to perform vital signs measurement and basic medical documentation accurately Strong understanding of behavioral health principles, behavior management techniques Excellent communication skills to effectively document medical records and collaborate within healthcare teams Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism while adhering to HIPAA standards for patient privacy Possess valid and current Driver's License Join us in providing exceptional clinical and practical support!
