Job Description

Job Overview Join our dedicated team as a Mon-Thurs Behavioral Health Tech (Nights), where you'll play a vital role in providing compassionate, client-centered care to individuals with diverse behavioral health needs. This full-time position offers an energetic and rewarding environment focused on promoting safety, stability, and positive outcomes for our clients. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will support clients through crisis intervention, behavior management, and therapeutic activities, ensuring they receive respectful and effective care during overnight hours. Your dedication will help foster a safe and supportive environment for individuals with substance use disorders and behavioral health conditions. Duties Monitor and assist clients during overnight shifts, ensuring their safety and well-being through active supervision and engagement Implement behavior management strategies using applied behavior analysis techniques to promote positive behaviors Document medical records accurately in compliance with HIPAA and Joint Commission regulations Observe self-administration of medication following prescribed protocols while maintaining detailed medical documentation and vital signs records Respond swiftly to behavioral crises or emergencies with effective crisis intervention and crisis management skills Collect data on client behaviors, progress, and treatment responses to inform ongoing care plans Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, special educators, and medical staff to coordinate comprehensive client care Ensure that communal and client areas are kept safe and clean Support clients with medical terminology understanding and assist in medical record keeping for accurate documentation of treatment activities Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent CPR Certification At least 1 year prior experience working in behavioral health field Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and crisis management strategies in healthcare settings Familiarity with working with individuals experiencing mental health and addiction-related challenges Ability to perform vital signs measurement and basic medical documentation accurately Strong understanding of behavioral health principles, behavior management techniques Excellent communication skills to effectively document medical records and collaborate within healthcare teams Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism while adhering to HIPAA standards for patient privacy Possess valid and current Driver's License Join us in making a meaningful difference by providing exceptional overnight behavioral health support! Pay:
$18.00 - $19.50 per hour
