Job Description

We are seeking energetic and compassionate Direct Care Staff to join our weekday team! This vital role offers an exciting opportunity to provide direct psychiatric and behavioral health support for adolescent girls (ages 12-18) in a structured residential group home program. As a Direct Care Staff, you will play a key part in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of teens experiencing behavioral and mental health challenges. Our residents have experienced trauma and are working towards healing and personal growth. Your dedication will help create a supportive atmosphere where teens can recover, stabilize, and thrive. This paid position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to make a meaningful difference in behavioral health care.
Shift Availability:
Weekdays:
6AM-5PM & 9AM-7PM (OPEN
AVAILABILITY PREFERED
) ; 12 hour shift availability
Applicants MUST:
Be 21 years or older Have a drivers license Have a GED or high school diploma Pass a clean background check Be available at least 4 days per week Be able to start within 2 weeks Responsibilities Monitor and observe patients regularly to assess their mental and physical status, ensuring safety at all times Assist with patient activities, including therapeutic interventions, group sessions, and daily routines Support and supervise medication administration, adhering strictly to medical protocols and documentation standards Document patient behaviors, responses, and progress accurately in logs Implement behavior management techniques to de-escalate crises and promote positive interactions Collaborate with team members and report any concerns or incidents promptly Maintain a clean, safe environment by following policies on daily living and safety procedures Qualifications Prior experience working with individuals with behavioral, mental health, or disabilities in psychiatric settings is highly desirable Knowledge of crisis intervention strategies and teenage Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and patient observation methods Experience in group homes, corrections, or hospital settings Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and compassion Join us as a dedicated Direct Care Staff team member!
