• PRSA Job Summary:

  We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Psych Tech
• PRSA to join our team at Continental Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Chicago, IL. As a Psych Tech
• PRSA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct care to residents, including but not limited to: vital signs, grooming, bathing, dressing, and toileting Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as feeding, transfers, and ambulation Participate in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans Utilize behavioral and psychoeducational techniques to manage resident behaviors and improve coping skills Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to address resident needs and concerns Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care and progress Implement and monitor resident safety protocols, including fall prevention and management

Requirements:

Experience:

2 years of experience; however, prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred

Certifications/Licenses:

Must possess valid Psych Tech

• PRSA certification

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Teamwork:

Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
