Job Description

The Admissions Specialist assists in managing referrals for Gibault's Terre Haute Campus as well as providing transportation for on-campus visits. 1. Abide by OPG #005: Corporate Compliance Plan and its Code of Conduct 2. Implement the decisions of your immediate supervisor or managers within your chain of command. 3. Provide a positive role model for the client s at all times through appearance, attitude, and behavior. 43. Exhibit sensitivity to the clients' cultural and socioeconomic characteristics. 4. Attend all in-services, General Staff Meetings, and meetings called by their supervisor. 5. Work harmoniously and effectively with co-workers. 6. Accomplish objectives and consistently produce satisfactory work. 7. Is faithful in reporting to work, staying on the job, and helping to meet institutional emergencies. 8. Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. 9. Comply with department guidelines, the Organization and Personnel Guidelines, and all expectations set by Gibault's administration. 10. Valid driver's license preferred for the purpose of transporting the client s to various locations. 11. Successful completion of Cornell University's Therapeutic Crisis Intervention training. 12. Assist in handling all correspondence between placing agencies and the institution as it pertains to the admissions process. 13. Process and respond to referrals for service within a 24 hour time period. 14. Schedule and perform travel duties in regards to the pick-up of new admissions. 15. Perform transportation duties in regards to on campus visits. 13. Take regular inventory of own emotional well-being. Develop and adhere to a self-care plan to promote wellness and prevent burnout. 14. Perform all other duties as assigned. #GAJC Completed High School diploma or GED certificate. Possession of a valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Submit to and pass all required background checks.
