Job Description

Kentucky Recovery Center is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to join our growing addiction treatment team in Franklin, Kentucky. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting clients throughout their recovery journey by providing supervision, encouragement, transportation assistance, documentation, and daily living support within a structured treatment environment. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping others, work well in a team environment, and can maintain professional boundaries while providing exceptional client care. Full- time and Part-Time Available Job Responsibilities Conduct routine client observations and document behaviors accurately Assist with admissions, orientations, and client discharges Facilitate transportation of clients to appointments, meetings, and activities as needed Maintain accountability for client whereabouts and safety Support clients in developing healthy routines and independent living skills Assist with medication observation and documentation in accordance with company policies Enforce facility rules, policies, and program expectations Complete incident reports and required documentation in a timely manner Respond appropriately to emergencies and crisis situations Participate in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing education Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations at all times Perform other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to establish and maintain professional boundaries Ability to remain calm and professional during crisis situations Strong observation and documentation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Basic computer proficiency Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Experience in behavioral health, substance abuse treatment, healthcare, social services, or related field preferred Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record Ability to pass background screening and drug screening CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Must be able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as needed for some positions
