Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree Psychology / Social /
Human Services Related Field Experience Required:
Experience in providing appropriate care and guidance to clients, helping them develop skills and achieve treatment goals. Experience in a community behavioral health setting is preferred.
Special Knowledge, Training, Abilities, and Licensing:
Preferred certifications: First Aid/CPR Must complete CARF and competency training within the first six months of employment, and annually thereafter. Valid driver's license required for client transportation purposes.
Job Summary:
Assist in the implementation of therapeutic activities. Draft and record notes based on observations during interventions and treatment. Observe the behavioral and emotional climate of the group and individual clients, responding appropriately. Ensure the health and safety of clients in care. Supervise and assist clients in meeting daily expectations and treatment goals. Communicate effectively with co-workers regarding updates and pertinent issues concerning client progress or treatment needs. Assist with the transportation of clients to and from the facility using a company-provided vehicle. Applicants must maintain a good driving record.

This position involves significant responsibility for the care and safety of clients and requires effective communication and supervisory skills to foster a supportive environment.
