Job Description

3rd Shift Crisis Professional Join the LifeWays Crisis Services team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals experiencing behavioral health crises. Under the supervision of the Supervisor of Crisis Services, the Crisis Professional provides compassionate, trauma-informed support to help individuals achieve crisis stabilization, recovery, and greater independence. What You'll Do Provide crisis intervention and support in both community and onsite settings Assist individuals with accessing community resources and services Support inpatient placement coordination and follow-up care Observe and communicate behavioral or mental health changes to clinical staff Provide crisis transportation and assist with support groups as needed Help maintain a safe, supportive, and recovery-focused environment Complete administrative and team support tasks as assigned
Required Education/Certification/Licensure Crisis Professional I:
Bachelor's-level degree from a human services field and two years of relevant experience in behavioral health services for bachelor's,
Crisis Professional II:
Master's level degree from a human services field and one year of relevant experience; OR Master's degree in any field with a human services-related concentration and one year of relevant experience, provided the individual also holds a bachelor's degree in a human services-related field. Safety Care Non-violent Crisis Intervention training, upon hire. At least 40 hours of relevant training before primary response to any crisis CPR, AED, and First Aid Training, upon hire. Must possess a valid U.S motor vehicle operator's license, and successfully complete motor vehicle record check. Preferred Education/Certification/Licensure Master degree in related human service field with one year of relevant experience Behavioral Health Crisis Provider Training 40-hour (Or approved equivalent)
