Job Description

Overview Horizon Psychiatry is looking to grow our team! Seeking a positive, upbeat, compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Technician/Medical Receptionist to join our team. This position works a full-time schedule of Monday thru Thursday from 7am-5pm in the St. Cloud clinic location. If you're a team player, attentive to details, dependable and exude positivity, we cannot wait to meet you! This position will offer the opportunity to provide patient care with a breakthrough treatment modality for the treatment of depression as well as provide Medical Receptionist duties such as answering phones, scheduling, coordinating new intakes, and other administrative tasks. We are seeking an individual who will be trained to administer in-office therapeutic treatments under the direction of our treating provider. Job Duties Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans for clients receiving transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) treatments. Act as a liaison between patient and care team to carry out patient treatment plan. Monitor and document client behavior during treatment in electronic health record (EHR). Utilize EHR & treatment software proficiently to record demographic and insurance information. Ability to establish positive rapport with patients while providing knowledge on TMS procedures. Ability to monitor and schedule patients for ongoing treatments. Greet and check-in/out clients. Answer multiple line phones and provide exceptional customer service to resolve client needs. Schedule appointments and manage appointment calendar. Obtain patient insurance and demographic information. Process client information accurately and timely into electronic health record. Collect client co-pays and payments. Provide administrative support to all clinic team members. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, mailing and scanning documents. Ability to work at other clinic locations when coverage is needed (infrequent). Act courteously and tactfully in dealing with patients, visitors, and team. Maintain a comfortable, safe and clean environment at all times. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to understand mental health diagnoses. 2+ years of experience in mental health setting (preferred). Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members. Experience with operating a medical/mechanical device (preferred, but will train). Experience with EHR systems and microsoft office. Ability to maintain professionalism while providing empathetic support to clients. Contribute to a positive work environment.
