PMJob Summary:

As a Mental/Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), you will provide for the physical and emotional needs of the clients assigned to your cottage and facilitate a healthy group living experience. You will also participate in a multi-disciplinary treatment team in the care of clients. This position is great start to gain experience in the mental health/social services fields!

Responsibilities:

Provide for the physical and emotional needs of clients, including:

Providing meals and snacksAssisting with personal careMonitoring medicationIntervening in crisis situationsFacilitate a healthy group living experience, including:

Creating a positive and supportive environmentManaging conflictEnforcing house rulesParticipate in a multi-disciplinary treatment team in the care of clients, including:

Attending treatment team meetingsProviding input on treatment plans Implementing treatment plans

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalencyClass E driver's license with good driving recordStrong customer service focusExcellent time managementOral and written communication skillsWord, Excel, and e-mail applications proficiencyMust be 21 years old to applyPre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check required
