Shifts:
1st, 2nd and 3rd.
Position Overview:
The Mental Health Worker will provide comprehensive support and care to individuals experiencing mental health challenges. This role involves working closely with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to deliver therapeutic interventions, facilitate recovery, and promote overall well-being.
Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude. Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm under pressure. Knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic interventions. Proficiency in record-keeping and documentation.
Working Conditions:
This position may involve working in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, community centers, and clients' homes. Shift work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, may be required. The role may involve exposure to challenging or aggressive behaviour from clients.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, transferring, and providing personal care to clients. Capability to respond quickly and effectively in emergencies. "TA01"

Contract Pay:
$21.00 - $25.00 per hour
