Job Description

Join our team and be a part of something extraordinary as part of our Screening and Crisis Intervention Program. Screening and Crisis Intervention Program (SCIP) Legacy operates the State-designated Screening and Crisis Intervention Program for Burlington County, providing evaluations 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to individuals experiencing a psychiatric crisis or posing a danger to self, others or property. We make it our priority to screen and triage individuals in crisis within community settings as opposed to a hospital setting. Our certified screeners and mental health professionals work together to stabilize the crisis and determine the most appropriate, least restrictive treatment option. Salary:
Starting at $20
  • $24 / hour
  • depending upon education / experience Shifts available: 3 pm
  • 11 pm and 11 pm
  • 7 am Job Summary Legacy operates the State-designated Screening and Crisis Intervention Program for Burlington County, providing evaluations 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to individuals experiencing a psychiatric crisis or posing a danger to self, others or property.
We make it our priority to screen and triage individuals in crisis within community settings as opposed to a hospital setting. Our certified screeners and mental health professionals work together to stabilize the crisis and determine the most appropriate, least restrictive treatment option. The Crisis Specialist interviews consumers, completes assessment, treatment plans, and crisis intervention. Outreaches as required. Answers a 24-hour hotline. Expected to report for work in inclement weather. Additional tasks will be added to the Director's discretion. Master's Degree in a mental health field preferred. Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in a mental health related field and two years of mental health experience required. Your driver's license must be in good standing, with no recent suspensions or violations of careless/reckless driving or excessive speeding of more than 20 MPH, and no more than 2 moving violations within the last 3 years.
