Job Description

IMMEDIATE NEED
MON-FRI 8a-4p Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Technician to join our team. This role is essential in providing support to adults facing mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of behavioral health principles and demonstrate the ability to manage crises effectively while ensuring the safety and well-being of patients. Duties
  • Responsible for providing transportation.
  • Ensuring Client Safety
  • Works closely with our clinical team
  • Enforce rules and programmatic procedures.
  • Monitor and facilitate activities.
  • Engage in monitoring /surveillance activities.
  • Report all potential dangerous or violent situations.
  • Escorts clients as directed.
  • Positive attitude and clear understanding of boundaries
  • Knowledgeable about all stages of treatment, relapse, and recovery
  • Excels in multi-tasking.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Able to communicate effectively (both written and oral skills)
  • Effectiveness of security responsibilities
  • May be responsible for issuing reports and communications that are called for in the completion of assigned duties.
  • Appropriateness of interaction with clients
  • Follow company policy and procedures, understand and follow all State and Federal HIPPA laws of confidentiality.
  • Follow and successfully perform all duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Valid driver's license from the state of residency with a good driving record
  • Associate or Bachelors Requirements Experience working with adults facing mental health challenges is preferred.
Knowledge of crisis management techniques and experience in crisis intervention is essential. Familiarity with addiction , patient care methodologies, and mental health practices is highly valued. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams. A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards in all interactions.
