Substance Abuse Behavioral Health Tech

Immediate need: Full-time Mon-Fri 8a-4p

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid driver's license from New Jersey with a good driving record
• High school Diploma or GED
• If in Recovery a minimum of (2) two years sobriety

RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor and maintain a safe, structured environment for all clients Observe client behavior and report any safety concerns, changes in presentation, or potential risks Respond appropriately to client needs and assist during periods of distress or crisis Maintain awareness of surroundings and proactively address potential safety issues Support adherence to program expectations, policies, and procedures Communicate effectively with clinical and administrative staff regarding client safety and concerns Maintain professional boundaries and appropriate interactions with clients Complete required documentation and incident reports as needed Follow all company policies and procedures, including HIPAA and confidentiality standards Demonstrate the ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations Work collaboratively as part of a team to support overall client care and safety

EXPERIENCE

• Knowledge of the 12-Step Program, AA, NA, alanon, etc
• KIPU and intake experience a plus
• Must be able to work independently and complete assignments with minimal supervision.
• Positive interpersonal skills required.
• Must maintain a professional demeanor and perform duties effectively in stressful situations.
