Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Graveyard Behavioral Health Technician to join our team in providing exceptional care to residents in a Substance Use Disorder residential facility. The ideal candidate will firmly commit to enhancing the quality of life for our patients. This role is essential in ensuring that residents receive the support they need while maintaining their recovery. Responsibilities Complete nightly cleaning check lists Conduct rounds on clients hourly. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor residents for any side effects or changes in condition. Provide behavior management support to residents while ensuring a safe, structured, and supportive environment. Conduct vital checks on residents' and report concerns to nursing staff or supervisors as appropriate. Promote resident rights and advocate for resident needs within the facility. Engage residents in recreational and social activities to support emotional wellness and recovery. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe living environment in accordance with health and safety standards. Provide first aid as necessary and respond appropriately during emergencies or crisis situations. Complete accurate and timely documentation of resident observations, incidents, and daily activities. Support residents in following program expectations, schedules, and recovery goals during overnight hours. Qualifications Previous experience working with individuals with Substance Use Disorders preferred. Knowledge of Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for Opioid Use Disorder (OUD). Familiarity with medication administration protocols and vital sign monitoring. Strong understanding of confidentiality requirements and protection of patient information. Certification in First Aid/CPR preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary staff. Compassionate, dependable, and patient-centered approach to care. Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress or crisis situations. High school diploma or equivalent required; behavioral health or healthcare experience preferred. Schedule Full-time graveyard/overnight shifts available Weekend and holiday availability required Work Environment This position works within a residential treatment environment serving individuals recovering from substance use disorders. The role requires professionalism, empathy, strong boundaries, and a commitment to supporting recovery-oriented care.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Application Question(s): Are you available to work weekends?
