Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Rehabilitation Therapy Technician, where you will play a vital role in supporting patient recovery and enhancing quality of life. In this energetic position, you will assist licensed therapists in delivering personalized rehabilitation services across inpatient, skilled nursing environment. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help patients regain mobility, strength, and independence through compassionate care and precise technical support. Duties Assist licensed physical, occupational, or speech therapists in implementing treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. Prepare treatment areas and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient therapy session. Support patient intake procedures by gathering relevant medical history and explaining therapy processes clearly. Monitor patient progress during therapy sessions, documenting responses and providing feedback to the therapy team. Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of all therapy equipment and supplies. Educate patients and their families on exercises, mobility techniques, and post-discharge care instructions. Adherence to Company required policy and procedures and code of conduct. Performs other duties as may be assigned. Requirements Proven experience in patient service and patient care within hospital, skilled nursing, or clinical environments. Familiarity with post-acute care settings such as sub-acute or geriatrics environments. Demonstrated ability to support patients with diverse needs in orthopedics, geriatrics, or hospital medicine contexts. Excellent communication skills for effective intake procedures and patient education. Move intermittently throughout the workday. Must have prior training in a medical setting One year's experience in long-term care or related setting preferred. Pay:
