POSITION SUMMARY
We are loooking for an addiction treatment Behavioral Health Technician (BHT). The BHT will assist in delivering care throughout Fusion Recovery and are responsible for providing support for the day-to-day tasks, counseling, and nursing needs of a licensed inpatient medically supervised reintegration program. The BHT carries out the Fusion Recovery vision, promotes service standards and creates a patient-focused caring environment while addressing and meeting the individual needs of all patients. The BHT fosters an environment of collaboration and respect with physicians, nurses, therapists, counselors and other healthcare team members.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Orientates new clients to the facility/clinic. Instructs and confirms the programs rules and regulations to new admissions. Assists in supervision of clients while completing hourly rounds to ensure safety and wellbeing. Ensures daily schedule is adhered to. Utilizes company vehicles for transportation of clients. Completes and forwards copy of Incident Reports and any other safety/risk issues to supervisor. Monitors and completes all urine drug screens as ordered. Documents any behavioral issues and reports to appropriate clinical staff members as needed. Build positive relationships with clients and staff. Provides a safe and therapeutic environment to all staff and patients. Responds and assists in medical emergency situations as directed and needed. Communicates effectively with client and interdisciplinary team regarding client needs. Assists with chart documentation and compliance. Adheres to all program policies and procedures while ensuring client safety at all times. Performs other duties assigned •We currently have 1 open position•
