We are seeking a Crisis Line Specialist for our facility in Chillicothe, Ohio. Please note, this is an in-office position, not hybrid or remote .

Duties Include:
Provide crisis intervention, support, information, and referral by phone and/or face-to-face. Serve as point person for community constituencies as needed. Demonstrate sensitivity, empathy, objectivity, professionalism, effective customer service skills, and sound clinical judgement in the course of all work. Complete telephone screening and triage to determine the needs and desires of consumers, including triaging and collecting information from Police and First Responders. Build and maintain community relationships with personnel at community agencies, State behavioral health organizations, and local hospitals with behavioral health units. Collect insurance, open clients into the Electronic Health Record, scan documents, manage releases of information, coordinate with hospitals and other placement providers.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma Three years of experience with mental health services
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in behavioral health related field Certification or similar credentials in crisis intervention, de-escalation, or mediation Completion of advanced CIT Training at state or national level.
