As an MHT, you create a calm, structured milieu where healing can take root —bringing steady energy and teamwork to our busiest hours. How You Will Make a Difference Perform frequent safety rounds, observations, and 1:1s as assigned; document behaviors and interventions.
Lead or assist with groups:
coping skills, grounding, recreation, and ADLs support. Partner with RNs during crises using verbal de‑escalation, redirection, and team response protocols.
Support admissions/intakes:
belongings inventory, vitals, and orientation to the unit. Maintain a therapeutic, tidy environment and uphold visitor policies. Coordinate with rounding providers and daytime interdisciplinary teams to keep care plans moving. Support safe discharges and smooth handoffs to evening/night teams. What We're Looking For High school diploma/GED required; some college or
STNA/EMT
experience preferred. Age 21+; ability to stand/walk for long periods and assist with lifts/transfers as needed. Empathy, consistency, and clear communication.
