Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with individuals in addiction with secondary mental health needs. This role requires a commitment to patient care and the ability to collect and analyze data effectively to track progress and adapt strategies as needed. Responsibilities Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and treatment effectiveness. Provide support and guidance to clients on a daily basis. Assist in developing individualized treatment goals tailored to each client's needs. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of client information. Collaborate with families and other professionals to promote positive outcomes for clients. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Utilize techniques for addiction counseling when applicable to support clients' holistic needs. Monitor vital signs when necessary and provide appropriate patient care. Qualifications Experience working with individuals with SUD/Mental Health highly desirable. Strong data collection skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret results effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment. Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to client advocacy and care. Certification or training in relevant fields such as addiction counseling. Must be able to perform physical tasks associated with patient care, including the ability to assist clients as needed.
