As a Mental Health Technician you would assist residents with meeting their goals, and managing their daily needs and activities.
Responsibilities:
Create a
Safe Environment:
Build a supportive, positive community for residents through daily therapeutic activities.
Drive and Accompany Residents:
Transport and stay with residents during off-site programs, fun activities, and doctor appointments.
Track Resident Progress:
Write down how well residents are meeting the goals in their treatment or behavior plans.
Handle Emergencies:
Immediately report any emergency to the supervisor and fill out the required incident paperwork.
Keep Residents Safe:
Protect the general safety of all residents at all times and strictly guard their private information.
Education:
Bachelor Degree BA degree in Social Work or a related field Act 33/34 clearances
Valid PA Driver's License Experience:
12 months Experience in a related field
