At Water Gap Wellness , we're looking for compassionate, motivated individuals to join our growing team as Behavioral Health Technicians . Our facility provides Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) services for individuals living with mental health and substance use disorders . As a Behavioral Health Technician, you'll play a critical role in supporting our clients' daily routines and progress toward wellness—helping create a safe, structured, and healing environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

Monitoring & Documentation Observe client behavior and progress, and document all relevant information in the electronic medical record. Communicate any concerns to clinical or nursing staff. Daily Support & Care Assist clients with daily routines, ensuring they are where they need to be and following structured programming. Crisis Response Recognize and respond appropriately to crisis situations using trained intervention strategies, always prioritizing client and staff safety. Transportation & Escorting Escort clients to meals, appointments, and other scheduled activities on-site. Provide transportation to off-site appointments or between facilities when required. Confidentiality & Compliance Maintain full confidentiality of client information and comply with all HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. Ongoing Learning Attend required training and team meetings to stay current on best practices and continue developing your skills in behavioral health care.

What We're Looking For:

High School Diploma or GED required Bachelor's degree preferred Previous experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment strongly preferred Must be 18 years or older Valid driver's license required Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills Empathetic, team-oriented, and dedicated to client care Why Join the Water Gap Wellness Team?
