Job Summary:

As an Environmental Service Technician, you'll bring care, consistency, and attention to detail to every task. You'll maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards throughout the center — ensuring that participants, staff, and visitors have a healthy and comfortable environment. This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, versatile, and enjoys hands-on work. Hourly Wage:

$17.50 /hr. to start - $18.50 after 90 days

Schedule:

First shift, full-time hours. Specific work hours will be established in consultation with your supervisor.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize all areas of the center, including public spaces, restrooms, and medical areas. Disinfect and maintain exam rooms, tables, and other surfaces following proper procedures. Understand and follow the company's Infection Control policies. Handle and mix cleaning chemicals safely and correctly. Restock supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels throughout the day. Store and rotate cleaning products according to company policy. Order and organize cleaning and housekeeping supplies. Lift and move cleaning materials and refuse as required. Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as painting or picture hanging. Serve as a contact for outside service companies, contractors, and deliveries. Observe and report any maintenance or safety issues to the Maintenance & Life Safety Compliance Manager. Follow work assignment flow to complete tasks promptly. Maintain infection control and health safety standards. Participate in ongoing Quality Initiative training. Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or

GED. 1-3

years' janitorial experience, preferably in a healthcare setting. Experience working with the frail or elderly population is a plus — but not required. We'll provide hands-on training and mentoring to help you grow!

Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday. Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move up to 30 pounds. Must be able to assist with safety or emergency procedures when necessary.
