Job Description

Endless Mountain Extended Care, LLC is a specialized residential treatment facility with 47 beds, exclusively for men, nestled in the serene landscape of Factoryville, PA. This welcoming environment is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for those struggling with drug and alcohol addiction, offering personalized support and therapeutic programs designed to promote recovery and foster a sense of community. Behavioral Health Technician Job Description Comply with all DDAP licensing standards, which include protecting patient confidentiality. Comply with all mandatory facility trainings. Facilitate in-house groups, such as life skills and art therapy. Facilitate community AA meetings at the facility. Participate in group curriculum under the supervision of the Clinical Director. Document group topics and patient participation in the client's Electronic Medical Record (EMR) to comply with clinical documentation. Provide transportation for clients for medical appointments/other needs as assigned by clinical staff. Participate in client group activities, including outdoor activities, and volunteering commitments. Participate in planning client recreational activities with the Clinical Director and Director of Operations. Follow each client's treatment plan as outlined by the client's primary counselor Complete the Intake/Discharge process completely including intake forms, searching the client, collecting a urine drug screen from the client, searching the client's belongings, providing a tour, and reviewing the general expectations of EMEC while in our care. Conduct searches of client belongings upon client admission, immediately before a client's discharge, and periodically throughout their treatment. Monitor Client Drug Screenings that are requested by Nursing or part of the admission process. Conduct daily room searches of each bedroom, facility grounds, and common areas. Prepare bedrooms for intake, assist in housekeeping duties with clients, keep common areas as well as staff areas clean. Carefully monitor clients during all activities. Complete other assignments as requested by management during your shift. Behavioral Health Technicians report and communicate directly to the Director of Operations.
