Altruix is seeking a Pharmacy Technician , Behavioral Health to join our Specialty Pharmacy team in Trevose, PA . This is a full-time, onsite position primarily working Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM

The Specialty Pharmacy Technician serves as a primary point of contact for Providers, patients, and internal teams , supporting the coordination of Behavioral health medications and ensuring timely access to therapy. This role is responsible for collaborating with the providers and the patients, maintaining patient profiles and insurance workflows, and delivering a high level of customer service throughout the patient journey. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented, and patient-focused environment , with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple workflows. Compensation for this role ranges from $22.00

Main Responsibilities Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned facilities, providers and patients Coordinate with internal teams, providers, and payers to support timely medication access Maintain open communication with providers to clarify prescriptions and resolve issues Track and follow up on pending prescriptions, authorizations, and documentation Assist with medication fulfillment, packaging, and labeling as needed in accordance with state regulations Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory requirements Participate in inventory activities and assist with returns processing when applicable Provide high-touch customer service to patients and healthcare providers Assist in training new employees and support team members as needed Escalate issues or concerns to the Pharmacy Manager promptly Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries professionally Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Active Pennsylvania Board of Pharmacy registration as a Pharmacy Technician Previous experience in a pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, or healthcare setting Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks Basic computer skills and ability to learn pharmacy systems Strong communication and customer service skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in specialty pharmacy, prior authorizations, or insurance verification Familiarity with specialty medications and patient support workflows Experience with pharmacy systems (SuiteRx, Framework, PrimeRx, or similar) Basic Microsoft Office skills (WORD, Excel) National certification (CPhT) preferred Key Traits for Success Highly organized with strong follow-through Patient-focused with excellent communication skills Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented and accuracy-driven Team player with a collaborative mindset Schedule Full-time Monday
