Join Diversified Treatment Alternative Centers (DTAC), where we focus on therapeutic, trauma‑informed care for children and adolescents in structured residential settings. We are hiring Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to support youth across multiple Pennsylvania locations. This role is ideal for individuals who are compassionate, dependable, and motivated to help young people build healthier, more stable futures. Supported Locations Include This single posting supports openings at DTAC sites in: Bloomsburg, PA (17815) Montgomery, PA (17752) Middleburg, PA (17842) About DTAC Diversified Treatment Alternative Centers (DTAC) is a growing organization serving children, adolescents, and families across Pennsylvania. Our mission is to provide care in a safe and stable environment, where individual strengths and relationships are the foundation for lifelong change and self‑sufficiency. Key Responsibilities Provide direct supervision and support to children and adolescents in treatment Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment Conduct routine observation, safety checks, and documentation Implement behavioral interventions and coping strategies as directed Support daily living activities, programming, and scheduled routines Communicate effectively with clinical, educational, and supervisory staff Serve as a positive role model and uphold program expectations Complete required documentation including progress notes and incident reports Participate in staff meetings, supervision, and ongoing training Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Previous experience working with children or adolescents preferred Backgrounds in behavioral health, residential care, education, childcare, or related fields encouraged Ability to remain calm and professional in high‑acuity situations Strong communication and teamwork skills Willingness to learn and grow within a therapeutic environment This position is Monday through Friday with rotating on call responsibilities. Hours will need to be flexible to meet the needs of the kids and the families that the team serves in all environments. You must have the ability to obtain Act 33 clearances, Criminal History and FBI Act 73 clearances. A valid driver's license is required.
