III - PRN
 to join our team in Russellton, PA. Earn $21.02/hour. Position Details The Psychiatric Technician III position works with and adheres to the safety and welfare of all residents in the Specialized LTSR program including mental, physical, spiritual and emotional health. The individual participates in carrying out resident's treatment plan goals and assisting with the treatment planning process, as well as providing support with direct care responsibilities.
Role Responsibilities:
Facilitate psychotherapy groups and support individualized treatment plans to promote positive peer interaction, problem-solving skills, and goal achievement. Teach and reinforce life skills and activities of daily living to help consumers build independence in home and community settings. Manage crises and challenging behaviors using appropriate de-escalation techniques while ensuring safety and adherence to reporting requirements. Provide compassionate, rights-based care that supports a safe, therapeutic environment and respects each individual's comfort and dignity. Maintain accurate documentation, follow outpatient care requirements, and complete all assigned duties in compliance with program standards. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Psychology/Social Work/Criminal Justice or related human service field required. 2 years of paid or volunteer work experience in behavioral health, forensic, sexual offending behaviors or residential services required. Knowledge and understanding of severe mental illness, recovery principles and recovery driven service system required. Valid Driver's License required. All Clearances required by OMHSAS.
