Job Description

Community and School Based Behavioral Health Technician Description The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) is a bachelor's-level professional with a degree in a related field of human services. Under the supervision of the Mobile Therapist (MT), the BHT implements individualized interventions, conducts observations, tracks progress toward treatment objectives, provides group and family sessions as directed, and performs case management and crisis intervention duties. CSBBH Teams are based within school settings to provide services during school hours. Teams must also be available seven days per week to extend services into home and community environments during evenings, weekends, holidays, and school breaks, as indicated by assessment or assessment. The frequency of BHT contact varies based on the needs of the members and family, ranging from daily support to less intensive group interventions. As members progress, they may continue to benefit from structured check-ins, individual sessions, and family sessions to reinforce and maintain learned skills. CSBBH Providers are encouraged to use the Individualized Treatment Plan as a guide and to view discharge or "graduation" as a planned, goal-based event. Location Bradford and Sullivan County Schools Salary $20.80-$24.86 Commitment Bonus- $1,500.00 Essential Duties and Responsibilities Working with all members on the Team, not only a specific cohort, to support generalization and practice of new skills.
